Customer Review:AwesomeI have on older model that needed screws, but this is still an awesome idea. Especially in an apartment where I can't just drill holes in the ceiling.... =0 Short review -- I'm going for a napI slept in hammocks for years, and have always wanted one that would fit into a house and not pull the door frames down. On Father's Day, I got my wish. The XChair does exactly what it claims. It takes no time -- and no tools -- to assemble, it's stable and robust, and the hammock adjusts from swinging chair to full length (at least for my 5' 10" frame) with a wriggle or two.
Gadgets rarely live up to their hype -- yes, Roomba, I'm talking to you -- but the XChair is everything it says it is. I'm getting one for the office...

Weber Q Portable Propane Gas GrillWeber's Q hybrid gas grill has a uniquely funky design that allows it to serve equally well as a compact portable grill or as a full featured backyard grill at home. Its generous 280 square-inch porcelain-enameled cast-iron cooking grate offers plenty of grilling acreage for a pile of burgers, strip steaks, hot-dogs or a fish nearly as big as the one that got away. The lid offers a 7-inch tall capacity and can cover foods as big around as a whole chicken. At the same time, the Q folds up to only 31-1/2 inches for easy carrying, and the Q's glass reinforced nylon frame helps keep it lightweight without sacrificing strength or durability. It has two durable fold out side wings with built in tool holders to serve as work tables, and the lid on the handle is heat resistant, and large enough to offer an easy grip even when you're wearing a grilling mitt. There's an infinitely adjustable burner valve with a high quality regulator to allow for complete control of cooking temperatures, a push-button ignition for easy reliable lighting, and the Q is fueled by a standard 14.1 ounce propane cylinder (not included). The lid and body are made of durable cast aluminum, and have built in drip ducts to channel away juices and drippings, which then collect on an easy to reach and easy to clean lower tray. --Brian Trinen

Customer Review:Weber Q Portable Gas Grill--A Real FindWe love the small size although the cooking surface is quite good sized. It fits well on our balcony. Instructions very easy to follow. Cooks fast with a great grill taste. We use it at least 3 times a week. Saves the oven or skillet cleaning. Weber QI have to say that this grill was everything it was advertised to be. I am not mechanically inclined, and I had it installed in less than 5 minutes. After that I was off and running. It heats up wonderfully and food cooks very evenly. Couldn't be happier with my purchase. Great GrillI bought the Weber Q because a) I move quite often and wanted something that would be easy to load into a UHaul without assistance, and b) I'm single and usually grill just for myself. This grill is perfect in both respects.
I also purchased the stainless steel tongs and spatula and the cart. Both are great. The cart wobbles a little bit when I brush the grate, but that's acceptable since I was mainly looking for portability. I also bought an adapter for a full-size propane tank, which also works great. Oxford Garden Designs 9-Foot Garden Market Umbrella, Green
Oxford Garden Designs; | Weber 1681 21-Inch T-Brush
Weber; |
Oxford Garden Designs 9-Foot Garden Market Umbrella, GreenOxford Garden Design's market umbrella combines sophisticated design and superior manufacturing to please you and your guests for years to come. The polyester umbrella, 9 feet diameter, is reminiscent of those found at popular resorts or beach houses. In other words, this is one nice umbrella. It's protected by Scotchgard, which means rain, snow, and sleet bead up and roll off, spills can be wiped away easily, and the thick fabric remains soft and breathable. The 8-foot pole, made of dense, heavy Shorea wood, comes in two pieces. Simply lie the umbrella down, screw one part into the other, then stand it up. The eight-point frame inside the umbrella, also made of Shorea wood, comes securely attached to the umbrella. To remove the cover, pull it over the ends of the frame. A white rope pulley inside the umbrella raises and lowers it. Insert a metal stick at the end of the rope into one of four holes in the pole, depending on whether you want the umbrella narrow (partly open) or wide (fully open). Excess rope can be tied up or even cut off, and brass fittings throughout give this umbrella a finished look. A decorative wooden knob, matching the pole, comes with the package and can be screwed on top of the umbrella. The umbrella and pole together weigh 20 pounds. You will need to buy a stand for this market umbrella, but assembly takes only two minutes. It comes with a one-year warranty against structural failure or defects. --Rhonda Langdon

Customer Review:Great BuyI couldn't afford to spend hundreds of dollars on an umbrella. I use this one in the sitting area just off my back patio. It has withstood the test of time as I have used it now for 4 years! I'm not sure what one of the reviewers was refering to since this umbrella doesn't even come with a stand. Anyway, I think it is a pretty good deal. I figured even if it last a couple of years, I would get my money's worth. I do take care of my umbrella and close it up during strong winds and storms just as a precaution. 2nd PurchaseI just purchased my second of these. They are very high quality for the price! Cheap Umbrella, Cheap PerformanceI purchased this umbrella for my deck in the Northeast, as a replacement for a much more expensive one that had lasted 5 or 6 years but had developed a few holes and wear.
I've had this one for a year, and it's now heading for the trash.
As described, it arrived in two pieces and was never straight. (The same problem others have described.) It simply never looked like it was sturdy, and within a couple of months one of the umbrella ribs was broken.
Now, in a mild wind, the umbrella snapped into two pieces right around the area where they were screwed together.
I expect items, even ones that are reasonably cheap like this umbrella, to go together well and be reasonably sturdy. I made a mistake with this product.
I would definitely advise against buying this unless you need a cheap umbrella that will last one season, and you don't mind something that looks pretty cheap.
